Dude I feel so sorry for all the comments in this thread :/ As you say it's your first time posting on Reddit, just a little bit of advice here – it's best to specify where you're from if you are not from the US! I THINK (from what I've heard) getting a license or a car is cheaper and easier than how it is in the UK. So getting your own car must be pretty damn difficult. Parking spaces are often limited too, unlike the US where people often have garages + front lawn (?) for multiple cars. Disclaimer: I'm not from the UK or the US, so I might be bullshitting lmao
What specifically do you need the electricity for in the next day or two, if you don't mind me asking? I'm hoping you're able to survive with some thick socks/jacket inside your room, and using house WiFi for necessities while waiting for your dad to calm down and forget he turned off electricity… Also, I hope you're able to start saving towards getting your own place.
