When someone tells you what their view of your relationship is, believe them. Your lack of experience doesn’t negate the fact of your age difference and life experience/life stage experience. If this was a 20 year old woman asking for advice on if she should see a 29 year old man, overwhelmingly the answers would be “what business does a 29 year old have dating a 20 year old” “no, the power imbalance is too great” etc.
