You and your wife might want to check out r/RaisedByNarcissists since you said her sister is the golden child, maybe this support group could help with unpacking family traumas. Your post and this comment made me think her sister is a narcissist and likely learned behaviour from her parents. Either way, her sister is clearly jealous and weird and a predator. That’s what I did, mostly because it was required with my masters but I still did it. They’re in London so idk if their class load is different than in the US, but I was definitely able to work part time while getting my masters in education.

I can never wrap my head around Polyamarous relationships in general, but i’m going to give you some advice regardless.
One sided polyamorous relationship’s are just an excuse to fulfil your fantasies and make it seem like you’re not cheating. Given the fact that he’s stated he’s polyamarous but you hate the idea in regards to what he’s doing behind your back, that there must have been a talk about exclusivity among of both prior.
But the reality is, he’s stated to be polyamorous strictly to fulfil those fantasies, hoping that you would be okay with it.
Not sure why you agreed to his one sided terms in the first place if you truly are polyamorous. There’s clearly a fine line to be set if it’s not agreed upon to be mutual. Find someone who’s willing to allow you to be poly in the relationship as well. Dump him.
Polyamarous relationships cannot provide emotional security in general if one has an ego. Then that person has to think about if they truly are Poly.

My husband plays video games every night. If he’s not too exhausted. We have 2 toddlers and he only gets to do it when they’re in bed. It’s just what he likes to do for fun. He works his ass off and its nice to see him get to relax. I’ll usually work on some of my art or even just watch him play. Skyrim is my favorite to watch, I help pick out weapons and stuff. Hell, for Christmas I bought him a $200 controller that’s extra fancy. I don’t know why video games are so demonized by society, us adults deserve any way we can get to have fun and relax. Life is naked.

Have you tried framing the issue as a health related one, and not about physical attraction? There's a lot of health problems (mental and physical) that are caused by obesity, and ideally her doctor should be discussing this with the two of you..
