You should probably have talked about your expectations when you discussed her being a sahm. And tbh, why does your 6 yo go to daycare if she’s at home?
One important metric of how equitable a relationship is, is free time. I.e. time when you don’t have to do chores. That should be equal.
Focus on what your idea of what a sahm should do is. Not what she does on her breaks. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishes, buying groceries, doing yard work. It should be the equivalent of 40 hours.
Also, discuss screen time for your two year old.
And for heaven’s sake, talk to her. You’re already resentful. Giving her dirty looks and hoping she’ll read your mind never works.
I had to let go of my sister because of her choice in men. It can be exhausting to constantly be around a toxic relationship. It drips over into your own life. Your family is over it. He’s kind of manipulative. And he’s doing it in a way that seems unreasonable if you don’t see it his way. You seem a little codependent around him too. That you have to run to him so quickly when he need you you can’t pick up a towel? Is there a reason why you’re walking around on tiptoe with him? Are you afraid that it’s not going well or something. You have to be able to be yourself in a relationship or won’t work long-term. Between him being manipulative and slightly controlling, and you wanting to please him, you’ve got the beginnings of a toxic relationship there. Don’t be afraid to say I’ll be right there. I need to pick up the towel. I’m sorry I use it as an example because it was really clear with what was going on then that’s the only reason.
We haven’t had any arguments at all and even if his phone was stolen he has ways to message me and his friends on his computer as well. I might ask his friend if he can call my bfs parents because I can’t call from overseas and I don’t have them on any socials. Thanks for the advice! That or OP is kind of blind. I had a bit of a similar situation, ex was a complete asshole, did not want kids, treated me like shit, I dumped him, he found a new gf immediately and they got pregnant really fast. He was coming to an event (kind of an outdoor rummage sale etc) where he knew I would be and then like 2 minutes before they show up, he sends me a message ”oh btw we’re having a baby”. Then they show up and fucking stand near my fucking table for an hour looking at baby carriages and other stuff while I hid in the kitchen of a nearby building and felt like shit. It was horrible and I would have liked to do something really childishly mean (I’m 39 and single so no babies for me) to them but it was just really fucking hurtful and I couldn’t even look at them and froze.
If this is real, then either OP’s wife is trying very hard to keep the peace for their company or she has been gaslit by this guy to blame herself for everything. The younger pregnant new wife doesn’t make him sound great.

You may not be ready to a make shift family, she doesn't want her daughter seeing you in your boxers….it'll be different if you was the kids dad, but your not so if you want them to remain living with you then put on some regular basketball type shorts. Now if she is telling you to wear pants and not even shorts that goes to your knees will do then she is being unreasonable and you may have ruined the peace you had your house by having them move in….there were obviously a few questions that wasn't asked prior to this move and you shouldn't move anybody into your place simply because you have the room for them to move in or because you feel lonely your house or even out of pity…you should be more cautious when wanting to move a gf in especially if they have a child because things WILL always change.
