   I got married at 21. The first year of our marriage was spent in two different states because he had a job and I had my senior year of college left. He graduated 3 years ahead of me.

   Never did he ask me to transfer, and potentially lose credits. Never did he tell me to quite. And if he had? It would have the first of fight in our marriage. And it would have ended with him sucking it up.

   He knew education was important for our future and my future career. Never let anyone (yourself included) get in the way of your career/education, especially in your formative years.

3. I agree with this but it's hot when your bf says he isn't attracted to you and attraction is extremely important. I think everyone wants their partner to be attracted to them.

   I also think this is something he should have never said. I think if OP said she thought he wasn't attractive it would hurt him too.

   However, OP do try to get therapy, it's helpful for your self image. I also struggle with it (as many do) and something that helped me is when I see myself in the mirror or when I see myself comparing to someone else who is conventionally more pretty I try to say to myself “another's beauty is not the absence of my own. I f*cking love cheesecake, sunsets and tulips and they are all beautiful but have nothing in common”.

   Also, have a serious talk with him about this topic. Explain how you felt. Ask for his perspective and why he wanted you to exercise so much. Why did he feel the need to change something in you. Talk it out and then think about it.
