There is NOT enough information in this post that suggests grooming or abuse. His gf has her boundaries (I’m not comfortable living with another person, I don’t like the idea of being in a relationship but living separately) and she’s giving an ultimatum, basically – “me or her”. While I don’t find it particularly kind, we don’t know her side of the story. And there’s nothing wrong with her feeling the way she does.
But an ultimatum isn’t abuse. Setting boundaries isn’t abusive. And “grooming” is so misused in this situation that my head hurts trying to do the mental gymnastics you must’ve done to come to that conclusion.
