I thought about calling his mom, but I'm worried he would tell our work/HR and try to spin it that I was getting revenge on him or something for the breakup. I don't know if this is just me being paranoid though after him already lying to our managers once.
Not only that, but his parents are strict Muslims and I've already heard him say before that his dad says men are not supposed to have feelings, or feel sad, and that he needed to grow up when he was feeling depressed. If it's drugs, which they already don't like weed, but actual psychedelics I can't even imagine what they would do or how they would handle it.
