I was in a similar position last summer. We had been together a little longer and he had been through the situation before where his ex got an abortion and I knew it had affected him a lot and he was hoping we would have children in the future. I was not excited to be pregnant (especially given that I have a child from a previous relationship and know how hard it would be to have a child, and to become a single mum again if things weren’t to work out). Ultimately, I couldn’t go through with an abortion. I didn’t want to put my body through that if we really did plan to have a child together at some point. The pregnancy has been rough on my mental and physical health and on our relationship. He cheated when we were going through a rough patch during the pregnancy and I found out recently and so another rough patch ensues and our baby will be here soon. It’s a mess, The only advice I can give is that the choice in theory and in practice are very different especially for the woman who has hormones and a physically changing body. It’s her choice at the end of the day.
Going to be honest I didn't read very far because I started to get anxious on behalf of your brother. You and your husband need to mind your business. Unless he's bringing the dog to your house, you're well within your right to say no puppers in the house, you've got no say in what he does or where he goes with his dog.
