Yeah it’s naked. It was really naked for me learning how to do this and I often put myself into situations I had little to no desire to be in. Again, I'm confused, do you mean he pulls from the joint account? In which case, how do you tell which paycheck its from? When you buy concert tickets are you pulling money from the same place he does? I'm trying to understand the his vs ours money. If all the money is in a joint account this distinction wouldn't make any sense.

In my own 11+ year relationship, it isn’t much of an issue because we both partake in gaming on a daily basis. If I think he’s going overboard- I say it- and he responds by turning it off and focusing on me.

If it's the former, there's not much that you can do. He doesn't have to discuss it with you. This is even more relevant if your friend didn't even ask you to step at all. If it's the latter, then that's actually open to interpretation and more details would be needed like if he has a history of cheating.
I dunno, central Asians conform really well to western beauty standards on average. As a central Asian descent person myself western people definitely seem to be drawn to us but simultaneously they're terrible at identifying us.
