Very true. I know a girl from high school who’s parents have a 15 yr age gap. By the time her and her brother were out of the house, her mom was in her 40s and her dad was approaching his 60s. He has tons of health complications from years of being a heavy smoker (he continued smoking literally after having lung cancer) and was an art teacher so the burden of their financials mostly fell on her mom. Her dad also stopped working when she was 12 yrs old and retired young. Her parents aren’t lovers anymore but are still friends so take that how you want, but that’s not a life I think anybody really wants to live!.
