Wow , awful – like the movie Fatal Attraction.
She sounds emotionally immature. You asked for help and she probably felt criticized for not already doing what you felt sad about. Some people’s reaction to feeling criticized so to move the blame back on to the person who started it. So that way she is not seen as being bad anymore in the conversation. The focus is on the other person. It’s manipulation. Who knows if she’s aware of it but people who behave like this have low self esteem themselves and grow up doing this. So, for her to change would actually take therapy and years of work.
She’s basically telling you I don’t care about the reality of you, the reality of the situation. Just act a certain way please to keep the peace otherwise I’ll break up with you. And she means it. Toxic relationship. I would say stay in it until you’ve seen enough where leaving becomes easy and your heart is happy to go. Right now it seems like you still want to be with her because you don’t know who she really is yet.
Yeah I understand now, I really wasn't intending on how it came out. I sincerely wanted him to know that in the end, I would be there for him and I have that same feeling towards him and his cat. But I definitely see how it came off and I'll try harder to not do that in the future. Thank you.
