IMO, she is meeting him to see if there's still a spark & to decide if she wants to get back with him. What kind of closure can she get by seeing him one last time that she can't get over a text? Likewise, she can tell him about you in a text. I would say to give her an ultimatum that if she goes, you will break up with her.
