Wow, this doesn’t seem like romantic partnership but more like transactional business pact. Honestly I cannot imagine my partner would behave like this and if he did I would be long gone. I don’t think this is a partner you can count on. How will he behave once you have kids? Will he push you to go back to work asap so you can financially contribute? You don't tell him that you cannot afford paying half of the bills, you haven't told him that you find it unfair that he makes double your money & you want him to pay more than you do & you haven't had an actual honest conversation about marriage & how you want your finances in a marriage to be handled.

I've had all of this since I was a child. Women are commonly misdiagnosed or underdiagnosed. Just because I haven't been diagnosed doesn't mean I'm not autistic. I've had most of the symptoms since childhood. I have an appointment soon but the waiting lists are long.

hello ! diagnosed bpd 31f here. been in therapy for years and it does get better, first and foremost. your brain is tricking you into thinking you're a burden and ruminating on it just makes it worse, it's a horrible cycle that bpd spins. practice believing what your bf says, that was a big one for me. getting stuck in how you feel about you with bpd ends in self hatred and destruction, but learning to believe and actually hear the people who say their truth helps you begin to believe it.
