I travel work. I've traveled with a couple of different companies. Due to the nature of my work, I've done roles with different industries.
I've worked on teams where folks grab a cocktail, maybe smoke, go to their hotel rooms, call their spouses, and tell themselves that the money is worth the time investment.
I've worked with other companies that start travel Monday, start drinking on Tuesday, add coke by Thursday, cause trouble with the public until they wake up Saturday, dry out and go home Sunday to do it all over again.

OP, you didn’t cheat on your girlfriend. You were sexually assaulted. I’m so sorry this happened to you. I’d recommend getting out of that living situation as soon as possible at the minimum.
