The thing is, I'm a kind person. People change and I get that. Happy for her and sure I'll speak to her now if that's the case…but…I feel the “curiosity” reason she gave to my list of reasons was a lie.
I get she might be nervous/scared to flat out say ” I always regretted cheating on you etc etc and I'm looking to rekindle a romance” Yet, I value honesty. She also had the bravery to contact me after 20 yrs on my biz line, so at that point u think she would either shoot her shot or not right?

I believe the issue isn't the test itself but what it represents. If someone is asking for a paternity test it implys they have doubts that the child is not theirs. I can understand this request coming from a fling or a situationship but for it to be asked in an 8 year relationship shows a lack of trust. The moral of the story is do not start a family with someone you can't trust.
