Break up and get a better SO. His responses alone have been indicative of how narcissistic this guy is. He literally has responded with nothing but “me,me,me,me..” and when he’s not talking about himself he’s attacking and blaming you. He doesn’t listen or hear you. His behavior is unacceptable.
Me and my husband are both broke as hell (vet bills :/ suck) but we still go to the park when we can and still listen to each other, we even have what we call “date night” once a week where we pick a movie to watch on Netflix, YouTube, etc. and one of us make a nice dinner at home. There’s no excuse that he could say that means he can’t take you to the park or do something nice at home together.
Second this. Plus had he done this before or made a habit of mean remarks in the past. Is this something you thing is typically out of character for him?
It's possible that he meant it more as a funny jab and not a serious insult. Not saying that justifies it, but if he's never done that kind of thing before maybe explain to him how much it hurt you and accept his apology.
If this has happened before or happens again that's another story.
