I would take this as a positive. He can do kid duty and make dinner when he gets home and you can go for a walk, read a book, have a shower, get your hair done or whatever you want, every day. On his days off, you also take time off. If he complains, remind him that you want to take care of yourself, and this is how you do it. Though he shouldn't complain about parenting his own children of course.
