  1. As the others mentioned- but also sounds like schizoaffective disorder Potentially. Just saying anecdotally that this sounds like how 2 people I know who were diagnosed began. Do not take my advice except for to please get her to a dr.

I hope she gets checked out and you guys are all okay. Luckily my dear friend who was diagnosed- though it was a long road- has recovered and is back to her old self with finding the right meds. Ended up that some of the medication she was taking triggered her mental illness and exacerbated it. I’m sorry I know this is so hot to watch a loved one suffer and to carry the burden by yourself. You sound like such a caring and loving husband. Don’t give up, but do insist on a dr evaluation.

  2. Oof, what does he need advice on? Whether you'll be “worth” taking the risk for!? If that's even a question for him, I think you have your answer…

Just being from a different culture is no excuse honestly

  3. You did cheat emotionally, but if he is your ex, there isn't really anything you can do to make it right.

What is there you can do, you broke up. And from the sounds of it, that is for the best.

He will always have his feelings, because you did cheat emotionally. Nothing you can do to change that.

  4. Your being alone for so long is making you act in ways that will appear to be dishonest, manipulative and toxic.

Obviously reality is at times subjective, but you sound exactly like every other guy who wishes their SO was skinnier but know they can't just say that out loud in public.

So it isn't about her appearance it is about her “health” and if we don't agree with your narrative, then you have told us to keep our mouths shut.

If you are unhappy in your relationship or with your SO. The answer isn't trying to change them or yourself. It's to find another SO. That this is your first relationship makes it feel like it is all or nothing with her, and you are forcing the issue of the relationship.

  5. This is incredibly insightful advice and very in-line with what I’ve been realizing tonight. I feel very confident that he didn’t seek me out because I was younger or anything like that. So it really comes down to where we are both at in life. Luckily, we are both single, never been married, no kids – so the barriers to entry might be lower relatively. Of course there’s still a lot to consider. Thank you so much for your thoughts!
