I'm going to be honest. Do I think this boundary is dumb, yes. As a guy I really do think women that have these types of boundaries are a bit insecure either in themselves or in their relationships. Your husband, based on how often he calls this dumb and tries to steamroll you into accepting this, more than likely he's gonna lie and go anyway. Most of my friends are married, and most lie about things like this even though very few “cheat”.
