This sounds like a major overreaction by your partner over a mistake. Nothing bad happened and you won't make that mistake again. Now he can't trust you with future children, isn't sure he can be in a relationship with you and thinks you should go ruin somebody else's life? Something is going on here and has been for awhile. This is not normal.
Have you noticed him being less affectionate recently? Or a little more critical? Is something going on at his job causing a lot of stress? Is he looking for a way to break it off with you and this is his excuse?
Whatever is going on, his behavior is a big red flag. Maybe therapy and marital counseling is the way to go if the marriage is savable. Only you can tell if this is the way to go.
