I think It's incredible rude and hurtful for you to think that sharing and asking for privacy means that I've turned my girlfriend in my therapist. She's also reading the post and the comments and does not aknowledge that. I haven't asked for solutions, pills or receipts.
I didn't say that you turned her into your therapist because you shared with her and asked for privacy. I said you treated her as your therapist because she “is the only person to know this trauma and secret in the whole world” — telling a trusted partner or friend about a trauma is a start, honestly it's how most of us start, there's nothing wrong with that, but it is not on her to help you process what you survived, that is a job for a professional. (And that's what she is trying to do for herself — process what you told her with a professional.)
I reinforce now that I do have the right the ask for privacy as she have the right to cope with this on her psychoanalysis. It's not about control, It's about empathy.
It is fine to ask her not to share with her friends, your friends, family members, the public at large. It is not fine to ask her not to talk to her therapist about things that happen in her life, including learning about your traumatic experiences.
