He’s only going to add to your depression, he is likely a major contributor to your depression. He resents you for being sick. He’s already told you that if you get really sick you’re on your own because he will be gone exploring all his other options.
Here’s the thing though
You have options too. Get away from this man before he ruins your mental health completely, tell him you understand how he feels and are excited at the prospect of also having the freedom to explore greener pastures. Tell him you recognise that your illness has caused a rift in your relationship but at least you know now that if you were to get something like cancer he wouldn’t be a reliable or dependable partner to lean on or expect support from. Wish him well and go find someone you are more compatible with, who sees and loves you for you, all of you.
