#@@#@!![35-M] [36-F] Ex-wife intruding on new relationship [34-F]
I (35M) have been divorced for almost 4 years through my children’s mother (36F) and have been in a LDR for 3 years (34F) Ex girlfriend or boyfriend wife initiated the separation and divorce (together 12 years, wedded 8) after I caught her having an affair that is on again off again. She has been horrible to my new GF, blames all issues on her and generally tries to insert herself in our lives (many examples of this) I have been gray rock for quite a while now, yet have had to set some limitations with her and nothing seems to work. It causes plenty of friction in my relationship when ex buys underwear for me personally as a gift or more lately made me a birthday wedding cake. We have had a high discord divorce and my old flame goes from berating myself constantly to buying gifts plus acting like she is endeavoring to make things better. The 5 year old has come to the house on numerous occasions and it has said unprovoked that her mom is jealous associated with my gf. These gifts are out of my manage but I’m dammed easily accept them and damned if I don’t because former mate wife says the kids motivate them. She doesn’t get it done to be nice, she does it to piss off my gf. Any tips on how to navigate this with GF and/or former mate? We have talked about taking the following steps in our relationship bur this is a major strain plus I’m worried she is going to pull the pin upon things due to my former mate and her inability to find out her actions are inappropriate.
