I only read to first line of item 4. Although men are taught to “woo” a woman with gifts and attention (which doesn't work well) he seems like a narcissist. It's a (psychiatric) personality disorder. Go “no contact”. He'll be back again and again, especially if you see someone new. Just stop replying. If you see him, just say you're no longer interested and ask him to please respect your wishes. If he persists, tell him that you are serious and don't want to cause him any problems, but you'll get the police involved to stop his contact if it continues because “we're not a good match for each other and I hope we can both find someone compatible”.
